Slide rule used with a heavy mortar, 4.2". It is marked for amount of propellant required for setting the range and elevation, plus allowance for drift. There is a sliding cursor of plastic and wood. Scales on both side are printed on a paper surface overlayed on a close-grained wood. The wooden spacers on the cursor appear to be beech. |
